Jayla Hutchinson
MODEL, VOCALIST
You knew she was special the moment she graced the world on Christmas Eve — a star born on a day already filled with light. At just 15 years old, Jayla Hutchinson shines as a dynamic Jamaican creative whose passion radiates through every performance, every frame, and every room she enters.
Jayla’s artistic spark began early: confidently posing for the camera, singing around the house, and telling stories through art long before she knew it was a gift. Today, she is a multitalented performer whose work spans modeling, vocals, acting, dance, and digital storytelling.
As a model, Jayla has appeared in national TV commercials, digital campaigns, print ads, and billboards for top Jamaican brands including Jamaica National, Victoria Mutual, Tastee Cheese, and Rainforest. Since 2018, she has also been a featured runway talent with Island Child Style, the Caribbean’s premier children’s fashion platform — showcasing confidence, poise, and a natural connection with the camera.
Her vocal journey began when her mother overheard her singing grace, revealing a voice full of emotion and range. Jayla has performed with TVJ All Together Sing, Tessanne Chin’s Voicebox Summer Intensive Final Show, the Voicebox Christmas Showcase, and in productions with the Jamaica Musical Theatre Company (Aladdin). She has also appeared in PLIE Academy’s “Human Heart,” ASHE Academy’s “Farmyard Mystery,” the RuJohn Celebrity Workshop, and competed in JCDC as both a soloist and choir member.
Behind the scenes, Jayla is just as expressive — writing songs and scripts, directing and voicing dub pieces, editing videos, and exploring new ways to tell stories. Confident, curious, imaginative, and disciplined, she continues to shape her identity as both performer and creator.
With her blend of talent, drive, humility, and artistic maturity, Jayla is building a path toward a global career — one where she merges her gifts to inspire others and proudly represent Jamaican talent on the world’s biggest stages.
A star on the rise — and she’s only getting started.
