Courtney Allen

​Courtney Allen, otherwise known as Chosen, is a 25-year-old Jamaican vocalist who began singing at the age of 9, discovering early that his voice carried both purpose and promise. Guided by the mantra *“Chosen is his name, peculiar is his title, and Greater is his calling,”* he lives and creates with intention, faith, and a deep commitment to leaving a lasting impact.

Humble and reserved by nature, Chosen allows his voice to speak where words fall short. His passion for music is inseparably tied to his love for God, and each performance reflects sincerity, emotional depth, and spiritual conviction. Music, for Courtney, is more than a talent it is a calling and a ministry designed to uplift, inspire, and connect hearts.

Outside of performing, Courtney works in the health industry, a space that further reflects his desire to serve and care for others. He finds balance and renewal through hiking and nature trailing, drawing inspiration from the stillness and beauty of creation. He also has a growing passion for acting, embracing storytelling in its many forms as another avenue for expression and impact.

While grounded and soft-spoken offstage, Courtney transforms the moment he steps into performance. His presence is composed, intentional, and powerful, carrying a quiet confidence that resonates deeply with audiences. Each appearance is marked by authenticity and purpose, leaving impressions that extend far beyond the stage.

He is proud to represent Jamaica for the first time at the World Championships of the Performing Arts. However, this is only the beginning. With a firm belief in growth, elevation, and continual refinement, he is committed to leveling up through this process.
